With nearly two decades in recruitment, I’ve learned so much and feel incredibly grateful for what the industry has given me. My experience over that time has been invaluable, particularly having started my career before many of the technology developments now reshaping the industry.
That grounding has helped shape the type of recruiter I am at heart: good process, excellent service, adding value, sales development and building strong, long-term relationships.
Over the years, I’ve grown and led recruitment teams, opened new offices, developed strategic client relationships and worked in both operational and commercial roles. I’ve helped steer the business through challenging and exciting times, including the pandemic and the strong bounce-back that followed in 2022/23 and Today I’m proud to help shape the future of The ONE Group as Commercial Director and Board Member.
Recruitment is an incredibly rewarding industry and I genuinely enjoy being part of it. I love getting close to organisations, understanding their challenges and helping solve problems beyond simply filling vacancies. The pace of change, particularly around AI and technology, is fascinating and offers huge potential for us all to improve.
I’ve worked across numerous sectors, industries and regions, supporting fascinating companies that all share the ambition of hiring the best talent available.
I firmly believe in adding value and have helped shape our ‘Beyond Recruitment’ offering and as part of this, you’ll find me hosting roundtables, panel discussions and speaking at events that bring employers together into a community.
I’m also proud to have helped raise over £170,000 for our charity partner, Magpas, including hosting our annual golf day, competing in half marathons, completing the Three Peaks (twice!) and coordinating various other fundraising activities.
