We’re working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying highly regulated industries, with a strong order book and ambitious plans for continued growth. As investment continues across the business, they’re looking to strengthen their quality team with an experienced Night Shift Quality Inspector.
This is a business where quality isn’t an afterthought. You’ll be inspecting complex precision machined components that demand accuracy, working alongside an experienced engineering team in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing:

Carrying out first-off, patrol and final inspection of precision machined components

Using a range of manual inspection equipment and CMMs to verify component quality

Producing inspection documentation including First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102)

Supporting calibration activities and ensuring measuring equipment remains compliant
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience inspecting precision machined components
-
Confident using a wide range of inspection equipment and interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T
-
CMM experience, including programming, would be advantageous
-
A background within aerospace, defence, automotive, medical or another high-precision manufacturing environment
