We’re working with a leading high-performance engine manufacturer in Northampton that is investing heavily in its manufacturing capability and delivering some seriously exciting, high-value projects across the performance engineering sector.
They’re looking for a Production / Manufacturing Engineer to join the team and take ownership of manufacturing processes for complex, high-precision components from initial concept right through to production.
You’ll have access to an impressive manufacturing setup across two facilities, including 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining, mill-turns, lathes, grinding and automation, with design, manufacture and testing all carried out in-house.
What you’ll be doing:

Developing and optimising multi-axis CNC programs using CAM

Taking ownership of manufacturing processes from concept through to production

Designing fixturing, tooling and manufacturing solutions for complex components

Supporting NPI and working closely with the shopfloor to improve processes and resolve manufacturing challenges
What we’re looking for:

Strong CAM programming experience – Siemens NX would be ideal

Experience within high-performance automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering

Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or CAM Programmer

Strong machining knowledge with experience of fixture design and GD&T
