FMCG is one of our biggest specialisms. We recruit across food manufacturing, pharmaceutical packaging, and the heavier end of consumer production, for businesses where pace, compliance, and process discipline have to be in place from day one. Our candidates often move between food, pharma, and personal care, and once you know what to look for, the skills transfer well between them.
Our FMCG and Food consultants stay in this sector rather than dipping in and out of three or four. They know the difference between food manufacturing pace and pharma packaging compliance. They understand why a Continuous Improvement Manager from biscuits might be exactly right for a snacks business, and why a Quality Manager from ready meals might struggle in something with a tighter regulatory framework. That’s the level of specialist knowledge we bring to every brief, and it’s why most of our work in this sector comes from clients and candidates we’ve worked with before.

We recruit across permanent, contract, and interim briefs in FMCG and Food, and we’ll always give you a straight view on the brief – what’s realistic at the salary you’re offering, where it might need a tweak, and which type of hire fits the situation if you want our take. A permanent hire usually makes most sense when you’re building out a stable team and you want someone who’ll grow into the business. Contract or interim tends to work when you’ve got a specific project to deliver, or a peak in demand to cover, without committing to permanent headcount. Plenty of our clients use both, sometimes for the same role at different stages.
